Default So I am moving again... Drum Roll please

Any recommendations on the St.Louis area? I would like to rent for another year however what they want for rentals up there is insane, so I went ahead and was pre-approved for a home loan, still kinda weary on it but at some point I need to stop throwing money away on rent.

I have checked out Wentzville all the way out to Warrenton and the Realtor I have worked with is recommending the Troy area to get alot more house for the same amount as they are by the highway.

Didnt get to make it up to the Moscow Mills area however it seems alot more affordable.

So any suggestions? I think most of you know I work from home and I will be covering most of the state for work so it seems like the Wentzville area would be nice so I can go any direction needed with being near 70 and 64. Also wouldnt be opposed to renting if you know someone with a house for rent.

Ill be up there almost the next three weeks in a row so if anyone is around and wants to me for dinner we can exchange numbers !

Hmmm, IDK what to say. Houses are a great investment, Id just hate to see you buy and move a year later....

Heard Ferguson has fairly cheap housing right now, and a great community patrol every night that helps you get rid of unneeded items.

Not sure when you will be in the area but feel free to stop by the shop if your in the area. We close the shop and go out for lunch every Thursday if you want to talk about the area we are all pretty familiar with it.

Will 3-4 years be enough time to recoup the money? I agree it's a great investment, and I'm not sure what the market is like. I'd be leary about flipping a decent house in just a few years, unless it's a train wreck and you are overhauling it.

If you do buy a house, post some pics!
