Hey Larry,
Hope all is well with you! Yes, this deal was made on this board about 3-4 months ago. Thankfully, 95% of the people on this (and other LT1/LS1 sites) are great to deal with. I was actually LESS upset when I thought that he just didn't send it back at all. The final straw for me on this deal was that he actually tried to ship a 1lb metal component (with "teeth") in a paper envelope. That is just unreal and I've never seen anything like that in 12+ years of buying/selling on the forums.
I went to great lengths (and extra cost out of my pocket) to ensure that his $250 crank (not even $1000+ cranks are packaged as well as this one) would be safe even if it was thrown off the back of a truck onto the ground. Now I am left with a useless LT4 Extreme Duty timing set since you can no longer purchase just the crank sprocket
