Good deal! I'm thinking of playing with some different blends of race fuel this year, but I noticed the rules state "gasoline or E85 only". I've never messed with race fuel before is it considered gasoline far as rules go?

Pretty quiet in here, any details from anyone? I'm changing exhaust, front tires, and gonna play with some more tuning. After talking to several other local racers the cost of race gas probably isn't going to net me a big enough gain to justify the added cost. Really looking into a vacuum pump but I'm not sure it's gonna happen this season. I'm still paying for the big chunk I bit off last year!

secret squirrel stuff
josh?
if you would like to.run a moroso vacuum pump let me know and i will send you my.bracket so you.dont have to screw with trying to make one.
... i think you will net some good results with one, and even.better results when you run an appropriate ring package with a low tension oil ring
im ditching a few lbs to try and get around maybe 3200lbs maybe 3100 if money allows, and switching over to a super super oxygenated race gas versus the e85 stuff i was running, shouldn't go much faster but will be a lot more consistent . some mid 6.50s on motor are my goals.

Yea, VP told me to use MS109 (unleaded oxygenated), but I can get VP113 (leaded oxygenated) locally for a decent price. Just not sure if 10HP is worth the cost per gallon over the ethanol free 91 I'm using now! I think I'm better off doing some more work on the tuning and adding a vacuum pump. Not sure if I want to go with the Moroso like you have or with the GZ Sportsman like Mike V. I might take you up on the bracket though, I'm gonna need one for sure next year if not late this year. @quik95lt1, how are you liking your vacuum pump?
I'm at 3380 (w/ driver) now and my weight for the calss is 3300 with my Holley EFI. I'm just gonna loose a little more weight by switching the metric radials up front for drag fronts. I'd like to cut out my MS S&W 8pt roll bar and do a 10pt CM cage but I'm thinking that's gonna be a wash as far as weight goes. That;'s a project for when we get a bigger house and bigger garage!-Josh
