I could use some new computer glasses, couldn't tell what they were. Can't hear worth a shit either. Wife has been bitching about it, wants me to get hearing aids. I told her I didn't want hearing aids because then I would be able to hear ALL her bitching.
Carry on.

Supporting Memberim sorry progress is slow. im at a honest point of either gutting/cutting weight out of car/ going full race no more street or just putting it like it was before but updated.
unsure

I wish my progress was as "slow" as yours.
Hell man, you got a cruiser, you got a truck and a trailer...... #racecar.
One of these days I'm going to get around to starting a build thread for my shitbox. But I'm so bad at remembering to take pictures and document things as I do them the thread would probably just turn into a big un organized mess.

Wow, what's wrong with the Scat for cruising? Now I'm beginning to realize why my friend sold both his really fast cars. Could it be they scared the shit out of his wife and young sons?

Supporting MemberThe truck isnt mine, blessed to have a cool boss that told me "why u gonna buy a truck, i got you that to use it". otherwise we wouldnt have the scat pack. the trailer is cheap financed oh well ill admit it!
anyone who knows me personally knows the car would normally have been running within a week of getting the heads back, but i really honestly got pissed and upset after hurting the heads. i spent the past 18 months before that day taking this car from sitting in @Injuneer driveway for many years to running 9.90 at the track, like fred intended. alot of time and money in that period of time. when the heads got hurt from a new 30 dollar fuel filter element that i just changed failing, i slowed way the hell down on the hardcore drive of working on any cars (to be clear, not just mine, @Ltconvert car isnt finished yet either, which normally would be done too). life also has a way of getting in the way, and with 2 very active in school kids, trying to focus more on the family and spending time with them.
for 13 years ive been running balls to the wall nonstop on cars and work, 50+ hour work weeks plus 3+ hours of commuting a day and its catching up to me already at 34.
sorry for the life story ramble. just finally admitting it, i did lose motivation after the heads got hurt. everything i did in those 18 months was the quest to go faster, and that just suuuucked. im trying to get back into it now that its not terribly cold, but literally i have the energy of 1 day a week usually saturday to do anything on the car.
make a build thread. its fun to look back on all my threads and see how far ive come.

Supporting Memberthat is my fiances car i got her for her birthday. she dailys it when there isnt snow on the ground. out of 25k miles ive honestly put maybe 2500 on it LOL.
my grandmother had a sn95 GT vert when i was a kid. always liked the sound and looks of them. grabbed one to cruise with the kids and my nana (she lives with us). the intention is lower it/clean it up cosmetically and be able to drive it wherever i feel like.
the bird is really a drag car thats driven on the street. 5 point harnesses/roll bar/aluminum seats are not back seat or kid friendly, add in everything poly/rod ended, rmvb turbo 400, whiney 12 bolt, nasty solid roller idle/sound/surge, the bird isnt super fun to cruise more than a hour.
Just to make sure everyone understands, NO the bird is NOT going anywhere. just have to make a direction decision before moving forward.
edit: honestly looking at prochargers for the firebird.
