Your car is holding you back. More specifically your tires are holding you back. They were howling in protest around some 15mph turns. I studied your hands around the course. You're placing the car exceptionally well. You're turning in on every slalom cone and you're very fast to react when the ass end starts to cone around. Put a LEGIT TW200 tire on it and go crush the class. I'd suggest the Falken RT660 in the biggest size you can find.

I was looking at the results. Some really fast guys in there! I didn't recognize any of the CAM guys, but you had Strano there in BS in a new Mach 1, Alex Piehl in his Civic R, and Andres Rodriguez. I race with Andres a lot and Alex several times a year. Alex is pretty hardcore lol. He raced with you on Saturday, then drove 5 hours home, just to leave early Sunday and come into my neck of the woods 4 hours north into Western NY. We had a good battle going for top pax on sunday.

Yeah I'm realizing these RS-Pros don't hold a candle to real 200tw tires. The RT660 in 275/35r18 would fit the bill @ $240ea. I have 2x 18x10.5 C5DDs sitting on the shelf, so I could grab 2 more and throw 315/30r18 RT660s on all fours for the ultimate setup. The extra $100 per tire might be hard to stomach though.

That extra $100 will be easy to stomach as you're racking up class wins and cracking top 10 in pax at every event. I like to show up with everything on my shoulders. Car is prepped and setup as best as I can make it. That way there's no excuse when I don't win. I can live with a loss when someone out drives me. I'd be pissed if I showed up on roasted tires and got beat by a tenth or something.

I ran RE-71'S for 3 years. RT660'S are better but its a tiny difference. If you could find some big boy RE-71'S then grab them. Don't waste your time with 265's.

I took a look at the site you raced at. Pocono is about 4hrs and 45 minutes away for me. If I still have some decent tires by then I'll probably hit up an event in the late summer early fall. I'll try to talk a bunch of my PA CAM friends into going. Always fun to see a stacked CAM class!

A friend was able to CNC the C7 hub adapter I designed on the Haas at his work (my former employer lol).
He still needs to do the other side to complete the pair. Once I get both, I have to tap the holes and finish the hub diameters on my manual mill and fit them to the car.
