Loaded it up after oil change and plugs, then found leaky axle seal and now it sits like this. Hopefully I'll have the seals in tomorrow sucks only using one hand. New windshield gets installed monday.

Having trouble deciding on a hood. I don't want a big retarded hood but need the room. If things don't work out well with the carb at the track with meeting my goals. Then I will put the stock intake back on it, order holley terminator x and then I'll order a stock style SS hood. Always wanted a arctic white 96/97 SS.

Not sure how much room you need but imo the Sunoco hoods look sweet on these cars. But the stock type SS hood is a great choice also.

I need about 4 inches with this intake and carb. I'm really on the fence about going to holley terminator x with stock intake and throttle body. That would allow me to run a stock SS style hood.

Downside to termy X is lose of dash cluster, but, that is fairly the same with a carb so not a huge deal.

I should, with any luck at all, have my motor running on termy X in the next month or so. Tune is made up and harness is on motor just need to finish up hotside.

At this time only gauges i have are water temp, oil pressure, voltage, tach and fuel pressure. So holley dash would be a plus lol.

well holley dash is pricey, unless you use the small screen they supply with the termy

Small screen would be nice too. I'd be able to hook a speed sensor up.
