    This was me lol

The conversation went something like "Ernie, we should put lights up this year and today is supposed to be nice." After all said and done I was the one on the ladder putting up lights in 35 deg weather.

So I got my wife a pretty badass present this year. She's a HUGE Walking Dead fan, and her "kitchen pass" guy is the actor who plays Negan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. His character carries around a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, named Lucille. McFarland makes a replica of this bat. That was the original purchase, until I ran across another one on line (Amazon of all places) that was autographed and certified by JSA, by the actor. She's gonna flip.

    I think I did good.

Yeah, Santa is gonna be nice to the kids this year. Oldest is getting a new BMX bike, youngest is getting a Kindle Fire HD8, and the family is getting an Xbox One S in prep for a new TV in the living room (kids have been clamoring for one after playing our One in the master bedroom). This is all in addition to mommy and daddy presents. Figure we're doing good enough to spoil them this year.
