Well it seems as though its a situation of no news is good news...
Had there been bad news from today's testing, I'm being told that the surgeon's team wouldve approached me afterwards to inform me that there is an issue.
Sooooo, looks like we are on for reversal surgery on Weds... where hopefully we successfully complete what was not supposed be done till March 14th. As long as all goes well, this should resolve the complications that have been seriously affecting me.
I do not have a time, as I am an "add on" proceedure to the surgeon's schedule and they will fit me in either before or after all of the scheduled proceedures my surgeon (same amd only one who has been working on me).
Please wish me luck... i dont ask for much, but I really NEED for this to go smoothly amd to get em out of this horrible, painful, deadly rut that I am in.
Thanks Fam...
Larry

Stay strong my friend. Surgery being moved up is a good thing. Gets you to the road of recovery faster. Many prayers being sent your way for a safe and successful surgery. Will be waiting for an update afterwards.

Here goes... cancelled all of my meals for today, and now Im iv and clear liquids only...
There is a tentative time for a noon surgery 2moro...
Spoke for a while with the PA, and the reversal will cone with sone challenges of its own, but other than discomfort, shouldnt be anywhere near what Im dealing with now.
As long as everything goes well, letz just say, ill be wearing diapers for a couple weeks... and the hole where the stoma is now, will be an open wound heal, so it will either get packed daily or have a wound vac on it.
Idk if I will post again, so please... wish me luck...

Larry I am glad to hear the testing went well and the reversal surgery is now scheduled. Wishing you good luck for a successful surgery along with a quick and relatively pain free recovery. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

You don't need luck, you got this man.
I don't even know you (other than reading your posts) but you seem strong and good willed.
Been praying for you and will continue to.
