Haha, I knew that would happen before you bought the car. Regardless, have fun with it. Doesn't take much to make a lot of power with that platform.
My friend with the G8 GT just ordered a solo catback and we will be installing that soon. He will likely buy headers (I talked him into Pacesetters) once we verify the catless connection pipes will fit the Solo catback without issue.

Supporting MemberI'm not sure if the solo catless connection pipes will work with pacesetters. they obviously are meant for kooks. I had looked at their mach X 3" setup but it wouldn't bolt up to kooks so I just got the mach shorty balanced. Hoping to have it on Saturday

I mean the Pacesetter connection pipes to Solo, it should bolt up okay. Not the fancy/expensive Kooks connection pipes from Solo. I think he got the mach balanced standard (non-shorty). From what I read, the shorty with headers wakes the dead, like LM1 style haha. If you run cats, maybe it's not so bad?

Supporting Membershorty balanced supposedly isn't too bad. if it doesn't drone in the car idgaf how loud it is lol, plenty of pipe to add two small bullets to if it's obnoxious with headers, or add cats
let me know how the headers fit please. really would rather not spend a g on kooks

Don't really think white is the way to go. I like the red though.
