    Ive run the same in all of my lt1 cars... and in my lt1 cars the fans have been programmed to come on sooner. Cars never go above halfway on the needle, even on hot days with AC cranked.

    If we are talking racing, fans are irrelevant here.

    I have a 180* and on a hot ass summer day, its at 185* cruising, fluctuates down to 180*.

    Honestly, you are overthinking this.

    The oil needs to get hot, to drive off the moisture (water) that condenses from the piston ring blowby gasses. Leave that gunk in the oil and it forms harmful acids. That's why cars driven regularly on SHORT trips, not fully heating the oil, gunk up real fast.
