Default Lt1 slow when going to second?!

Hey guys so my car seems to accelerate pretty quick through first gear but when I hit second it seems like it takes for ever for it to go from like 45-60 :/ is this normal for everyone or should I get it checked out

    thanks!

Long time since my car had a stock LT1 and a T56 trans, but I don't remember it being a dog in 2nd gear.

Still have the stock 3.42:1 rear axle (GU6) that came with the T56? What size tires? What RPM do you shift from 1st to 2nd? Any sign of misfires? Any sign of clutch slippage?

My last T56 car was all tire spin in 1st, then a quick 2nd, then into 3rd. I dont remember 2nd being long at all.

I'm thinking it could be traction lose because it pulls in second pretty good usually. It's going into the shop for dyno tune and bolt ons next week so I'll have them check it out
