Hello, I am from York, PA. I am the guy with the 383 that spun a bearing going to the dyno day(lol).

Probably going to build a new motor, already have a block bored 30 over, line honed, splayed main caps and cleared for a 383.

Bought the vehicle with a bad msd opti that had false rpm spikes causing the engine to run stupid. We replaced it with a skip white opti and ran fine.

Engine supposedly only had 500 miles on the engine(very clean) Engine came from Georgia.

The car had previously had a 383 in it before he swapped the one that spun a bearing, I however do not know what happened to that engine. The driveshaft did let loose up and damage the underside with visible scratches in the tunnel. I do know it was raced at South Mountain Raceway and was sprayed. 20161207_182605_HDR.jpg It also has battle wounds that came from South Mountain Raceway. 20161207_182506_HDR.jpg
When I bought it, it supposedly had a 383 in it which we never verified. We will once we tear it apart I guess LOL. It had a MSD optispark with RPM Spikes which never happened only during closed loop though. It ran stupid, was retarding the spark, backfiring like crazy. We put a Skip white opti in and fixed the problem.

The car will be painted a Dark Grey or Gunmetal, some sort of grey... Will be my first time painting basically anything...
It will be getting a new 383 in it with a 24x system. Will start a build thread

Engine issues suck, but welcome. I am also rocking a Frank @Cahall Pro Race in my T/A. Sounds like a solid project. It'll definitely rip when it's all said and done.
