    Default Ticking sound

Hey all. Finally back online, and got my car shipped down to my new duty station (Fort hood). Been driving it again for about a week now, and I'm noticing a ticking sound coming from what I think might be the valve cover. Could anyone help me diagnose it? Thanks!

There's a lot of ambient noise there. Have you poked around with a stethoscope? A bad exhaust gasket can sound a lot like a rocker tick

Unfortunately don't have any of that available to me right now. They're fairly new gaskets (<2500 miles) so I didn't think that would be an issue, but I'll give it a look.

I blew out a copper header gasket in about 500 miles.

    Have you re-torqued header bolts?

I'm with Tubby. You can also continue to drive it and see if it gets worse. Besides the ticking, how's the car running?

Which gaskets did you use? Did you recheck/tighten the header bolts after a few heat cycles from gasket install?
