Exhaust decision
Need opinions please. I have le heads cam longtubes ory going in to Borla rear section kit. I love the sound but is a little quite, I was thinking of e-cutout or Borla xr1 dumped before axle. Any input appreciated.

That's my problem I personally do not like loudmouth, there is a fine line between sounding good and just plain loud. I really like Borla on the LT1 just afraid the xr1 might be too loud and the pro xs will be similar to what I already have.

Supporting MemberI have no clue, some no name muffler on my current car. I have run, in this order on all my lt1 fbodies over the years
-stock midpipe with single dynomax ultraflow
-loudmouth
-dynomax 18" bullet in loudmouth
-dumped dynomax 18" bullet right before axle
-3" oval case xr1 with single outlet at bumper (think slp 2otl with one tip) (quietest)
-dynomax 12" bullet dumped in front of axle
-some no name catback that cackles (current)
on my dad's car
-true dual with x pipe and 12" dynomax bullets dumped
-loudmouth
-dumped 12" dynomax bullet
-mufflex 3.5" single with magnaflow oval muffler (current)
all depends what sound you want.

Wow...lol I was thinking bullets dumped at axle but everything I read is very loud. I guess since I like my sound I should just go with cutout. Thanks for the input

I love the black car 12" dumped sound. Is that true duals or single off the y pipe?
