Most vets/clinics accept CareCredit. One of my dogs ranked up a HEFTY vet bill at the ER when he ate a ton of allergy and ibuprofen pills. Ended up getting approved on a week night on the way to the ER. Still working on that bill but he has been back in action for quite a while, now. I'll never forget that call, on my way home from grad school.

Many would put their animals down with any sign of health issues. I think if you create a GoFundMe, that'll help with the vet bills. This community is very charitable and I'm sure many of us would chip in.

    Best of luck.

Thanks guys. Yea im going to setup a go fund me. The misses isnt a huge fan of it, but her family has always been wealthy so I dont think she understands it (not trying to insult anyone its just a differing viewpoint). regardless of what she thinks im going to set it up when I can. I have been working my ass off and selling stuff, on top of working on major school projects.

Yea, literally the first thing my grandma said when I told her was oh well you can put him down. I honestly don't understand how people could do that. Unless he is in pain that can't be controlled without crazy medication I am going to do everything I can for him. My dogs do so much for me everyday, especially when my lingering mental issues from the military kick in. To me they are so much more than just animals they are my family, hell they are better to me than most of my family is anyway. I know how hefty the bills can be I had another dog get a hold of a poison toad while I was in Iraq. Luckily I was able to pay for what she needed without even thinking about it. She is still going strong almost 10 years later.

Have you thought about a personal loan? Maybe a title loan from a bank or credit union?

One of my boys keeps finding the poisonous toads (Bufo marine toads), and try to get the every time. We have a deal with our emergency vet that he gets the 10th visit free, lol
