Default Slight disappointment with my ACC floor mat purchase

I purchased a set of essex (not cutpile) floor mats from a non-sponsor. They are the ACC brand. I opted for the 82-02 Z28 emblem being embroidered on them. Had I known how low quality the Z28 logo would've been, I would have chosen emblem-less.

The Z28 emblem looks as if they rounded off all the corner of the Z and the 2. Does not look like the Z28 emblem at all.

I also ordered the essex carpet to replace my ripped carpet. The carpet material itself seems fine, although I was expecting something more plush. Slight disappointment in the backing of the carpet.

I ordered charcoal for both the mats and the carpet. The mats look slightly lighter in colour.

I'm going to get in contact with the vendor to get this cleared up. I will keep you guys posted.

All in all, this cost me $700 CAD shipped thanks to the poor exchange rate and shipping.

I ordered a replacement carpet for my truck from stock interiors.com. I got the same crappy backing on my carpet also, I believe you have to order the optional mass backing to get a decent carpet, but that sure runs the price and the shipping up.

I didn't opt for the mass backing as it would add an extra $150 CAD (I believe that's what it was). I regret it slightly now... I might dynomat the floor to make up for it.

I recommend second skin sound deadner. It's not a tar based product. I just used it in my trans am and it is awesome. It sticks great too. It's a true auto based product. Not a home building product renamed and sold for a higher price.

I bought 40 sq feet and covered the entire t-top area, wheel wells, the above hatch area, the side pillars, and the entire transmission tunnel before I ran out of product. Made a huge difference. Took me a week to do it with the entire inside stripped.

I'll look into that. Last thing I want is to get the interior together and have unbearable highway noise.

    $700 for that!
I would be made too. Good luck
That's why I only pay with PayPal and credit cards, because you can dispute stuff. I'm sure you were expecting good stuff though and would rather had received quality product.
