    Default Tune touch up necessary?

So I'm Currently running a Solomon tune for my H/C setup. I was data logging back and forth with him while I lived in San Diego (sea level.) about a year ago.

I have since moved to Arizona at 968' above sea level and I'm assuming different quality in gas. I also installed a new catback that is no longer resting on the floor board that I discovered that I didn't know about until now. I'm also going to be running 4.11 gears where before I was running 3.23's.

Would these new changes warrant a new tune and some more data logging? Since I will be putting a different load on the engine with the new gears and exhaust not rubbing the floor? Lol

    Opinion please!

Since you have to update the gears in the tune, it wouldn't hurt to send some data logs as well. I'd also contact your tuner and see what he suggests.

I'd contact a different tuner for that retune.

I've seen his tunes, where he's literally changed nothing, except an injector constant, or not even changed that when someone is putting 36lb or 42lb Injectors in and then he's telling them something else is wrong when it's running fatter than Rosie odonnel in the 90's. I spoke to him about a tune, didn't impress much. More or less acted like he knew more than he did.

Again this is personal opinion. I am not a tuner, I barely know enough to screw something up. Moe and nate mickelson are my personal go to guys, and will educate you and help you understand what is going on and what they are changing. Both have helped me when I screwed something up for free or explained what I needed to fix or change late at night stuck with an issue. Much respect for them.
