Drag shocks/struts/springs
My dad is looking for some spring and/or coilover setup for the rear of his camaro, I'm kinda looking for the same thing he has Lakewood shocks all around I think I know I'm going to do them, I know QA1 is the way to go but he's just looking to lower the rear end some more I'll go with QA1s when I can what is a good spring combo or coilover setup for a car that will see track time at the drag strip. Thanks guys

Buddy of mine was pulling 1.3X 60's with his 97 convertible. Rear was Eibach Drag Launch springs and single adjustable QA1's (not coil over). Couple of top 4th Gen suspension gurus told him to go back to his stock springs. He didn't have his springs any more, so we swapped in my Formula coupe stock springs, still with the QA1's. Made it to 1.2X. I think he could have launched harder, but he lived in fear of huge wheelstands.
For a coil over setup, with the QA1's I like the Spohn coil-over kit. Particularly the reinforcement supplied for the upper shock mounting locations.

Ok so keeping stock springs is the best way to go for drag it looks like lol, but what about for lowering do the v6 springs lower it how much? I dont know how much my dad is looking for but he does want it lower then stock.
