Turbo or Procharger
I know every setup will have its pros and cons, I just bought a 383 from a forum member here that is built for boost and I don't know what to do lol. I'm gonna spray my other motor in the car with just like a 150 shot, but just not sure on where to take the motor to make it for turbo or a procharger, I have no idea how much psi to run I know unfortunately I'll have to change my gears when I eventually put the motor in, but if I go with either setup what is the factory computer good for before we have to swap it out to like a 24x or a fast efi or holley efi setup? That's the main question. And with the turbo setup is it better for single turbo or twins? As for the procharger how hard is it to mount everything in the engine bay? I know I have more room then normal since no AC or power steering, and do you have to go with a standing radiator setup on both? or only if you want the intercooler in the front? I know the basics for both need more fuel pump and injectors, certain headers for turbo no matter what setup.

Supporting MemberAn fbody procharger bracket slings it down low on driver side, no need to stand rad up, front mount just use a cx racing universal piping kit and 3" in/out 4" core intercooler, you just cut bumper bar and it fits easily. Bigger injectors and fuel pumps are needed. Stock computer is good to whatever you can throw at it under 7k rpm, finding a tuner is the hard part.

Can you weld and or deal with making a ton of non OE crap fit in a small fbod engine bay? If you are not comfortable with that mess, go super charger.
Boost is linear, its easy to install and utilizes existing exhaustCorrelation does not imply causation.
