Let's explain this style of racing compared to regular dial in bracket racing, including what the weight penalties mean.

True Street is set up as a index race. You get three back to back passes and we take the average of those. The closest to the index times listed in the rules wins. Second closest is the runner up. The King of Street is the racer with the fastest three pass average no matter how close to an index.

Bracket class is just a regular dial in bracket class

All the other classes are strictly Heads-Up. First one to the stripe wins.

The weight penalties are based of minimum weights. So in the Extreme Street classes minimum weight is 3350lbs with driver. If you are running a 24x conversion your car will have to cross the scales with a minimum weight of 3550lbs with driver. Say you have a TH350 transmission and 24x, your minimum weight will be 3750lbs with driver. It will work that way with all the classes. The weight penalties are added to the base minimum race weight.

I'd love to give you 500 off my car. Just curious, what class are you in and how are you 500 under?

Oh yeah. I'm guessing you're looking to run in extreme street. 3750 would be your minimum race weight. You going to need to eat more cheeseburgers my friend!
