    Default Tach & Accessories

    Does anybody make aftermarket dash inserts for are cars?Im going with aftermarket gauges and im looking for accessories for.Im carbing my car is why im going aftermarket gauges.

    I've actually looked at doing something similar for the g-body platform. Because the stock faces are flat I could do them out of aluminum and mill whatever size gauges in whatever orientation. I'm not sure if I could do the same thing on the 4th gen f body or not. I may have an old gauge cluster I could take apart and see

    The ones I have seen are custom, and pretty close to what firebird_1995 said about the G-Bodies. It's something I honestly want to do myself, but dont have the money or time to mess with right now. too bad its not a bird I would send you the extra cluster I have to play with in exchange for info on how you did it haha.


    383, Eagle crank, scat rods, Mahle pistons, 238/248 .565 cam. 3k stall, AFR 210 heads, Pacesetter LT, 58 MM TB and a few other goodies.

    From what I've heard because of the lack of room you have to mount the insert pretty far forward and use low profile gauges


    383, Eagle crank, scat rods, Mahle pistons, 238/248 .565 cam. 3k stall, AFR 210 heads, Pacesetter LT, 58 MM TB and a few other goodies.
