I think as long as I have quality emission parts (cats, egr, etc.) It would pass. I know LTs are not allowed in CA. But I know my dad knows people that would look for only what is required and as long as it passes the sniff test.
I have also found LTs with emissions on them.

I have decided that since I will be in Afghanistan for the next 12 months. I'm not going to worry about trying to upgrade right now. When I get back. I'm moving to Texas, then I will be doing things to it.

I'm really wondering about the Torqhead ls1 conversion. I don't know if I would want to spend $2000 on this. But on the other hand I would have an easier time trying to tune it. The price tag is what I'm having a hard time with. I read that Torqhead does work with the C4 dash. They just repin the ls1 PCM. Has anyone else done this conversion? Is it really worth it?
