    Probably be a good idea to download the factory manual with regard to bleeding the complete ABS system.

    Thanks Injuneer. The only other thing I heard is it could be the valve in the master cylinder

    Sometimes it's necessary to "home" the ABS motors, as mentioned in earlier posts. I believe this can be done with Scan9495, eliminating the need for a Tech-1/Tech-2. I know #GaryDoug has tested it with the 96 ABS system. 97 should be the same???

    So scan9495 can set the abs off for bleeding them?

    It can "home" the motors, which is the first step in bleeding the brakes. But, typically you only need to home the motors if there were ABS codes set.
