The classes are not that large. Currently i believe registration at the gate is 40 or 50 bucks. I think it would hurt the event to double or triple that. But at the same time if it creates a large pay out... maybe not. I just dont know that the car count is high enough.
Please remember Im only am attendee and not a coordinator of the event.

If you are going for money, you may be going for the wrong reasons. IMO of course.
The LTX shootout will never be as heavily sponsored and popular as the LSX one but for most of the folks who attend the LTX, no one wants it to be some huge faceless event anyway.

I wouldn't be going just for the money. I would be going to race. you gotta understand hauling a car and trailer over 800 miles, missing work, room and bored all costs money. if you have a competitive car and have a chance to recoup some of those funds might be the deciding factor to make the even....

Lol... we get it. I also hauled 800+ miles one way. We have people from Canada... New England... Texas and more that also do...
The thing people that have never been dont understand is this event is about a gtg with the community. Imho... the racing comes second to that on top of it all.

I understand its about community and the experience itself, im just trying to throw out an idea from a different perspective to possibly draw people in. I wasn't aware the racing wasn't a big reason people went so I misunderstood that part
