From what I have read is that you can find hardware, brackets. To convert to the C5 rotor and brake setup.

Camaro96, how did you get that spindle cut so well? It looks perfect.

Nope. For C5 brakes you have to cut the ear and use a bracket. HOWEVER..........I am pretty sure that the LS1 spindle will fit the Gen 1 CTSV Brembo caliper without issue and use a C6Z rotor. BUT, you will need to have the proper wheel offset to clear the caliper. http://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension...ll-w-pics.html

You are correct. The LS1 spindle will take a ctsv brembo caliper. you're going to want a minimum of like an 18" wheel to clear with some clearancing of caliper, 19" wheel to be really comfortable. I have a set of 18" rims for my trans am and I had to grind down a couple of humps on the calipers to get them to clear."Only in the Corps can you put three guys in a room with an anvil and a rubber mallet, come back 15 min later, and the anvil is broken, the rubber mallet is missing, and nobody saw a damned thing!"
