Default The unicorn makes an appearance

Bought the mythical creature out today. New C6Z brakes feel AMAZING after a second bleed session. The Stoptech Street Pads initially feel soft but as soon as they build some heat they grab HARD. I'd put the brakes on this car at the very least on par with my buddies Baer 6P setup on his 95 Z28. Car ran great, save for the as previously reported and LG said "normal" belching of smoke after a snap shut of the throttle (read shift) coming out of heavy boost. HUGE cloud of the blue stuff when coming off of 14ish PSI or greater boost. But flawless otherwise. Tidied up some leaks over the winter (both turbos with drips from oil/coolant fittings and the scavenge pump pull hoses had opened up bad) and it's dry as a bone underneath now.

VERY happy with the car as it sits. Need to replace the WBO2 sensor and have the tune worked over some, but that's minor stuff. She's ready to rock.

Oh, and the 305/35-19 Nitto NT05R's are freaking AMAZING tires. It was 50* today out and I had no traction issues at all. These puppies hooked HARD on the street.

    Obligatory pic:

All my friends here call it the unicorn. It's believed to exist but no one ever sees it.

Same, turbo LT1s, rare to find and ever rarer to find running

No vid, I know, shame on me. Go Pro was dead. Didn't know I was taking it out until last minute.
