Shop Truck Build Thread
I don't think I have ever actually had a build thread, especially from the beginning. We have decided to build a dedicated race truck with miscellaneous parts we have around the shop with the end goal of an LTX Shootout Outlaw contender. Since we are starting with just scraps and left overs this year the truck will be sporting a stock lower end and competing in the bracket class. I will post up progress pics as we move through the build. Here is what we started with, a 5.3L Turbo swap project that someone lost interest in.

Thats all I have for now, truck is completely gutted and sitting at the body shop right now getting the frame painted, new cab corners, and fixing some dings.
We had a Turbo 400 trans laying around that will probably end up in it.2013 King of Street & ES/PA Champ

Got most of the body work done and the jams sprayed. I didn't get a picture of the aluminum body mounts, they are pretty slick pieces from JTRacecraft. Now for the cage and start mocking things up.

Roll cage and Kirkey seat are in and it's ready to go back to the body shop for the rest of the body work. While it's there we can hopefully make some progress with the engine, Big thanks to Josh at BDB Racing for the always surprisingly fast shipping on our parts.
