Cruisin OCMD 2016

I only go down Wed or Thurs to Sunday, but on the busier days it looks like people are double parked in some spots. I'm sure there's a good system to it all and people are courteous.

I used to stay on Baltimore Ave every year in whatever hotel was the cheapest. While it was nice being right on the boardwalk, the noise and people got old. One year we had a hotel balcony that was right on the boardwalk and facing the ocean. Some drunk kid wondered over for a cigarette while my friends were all hanging out and casually drinking. The kid got a cigarette and decided he was going in our hotel room. Needless to say, I launched him into the boardwalk and called the cops haha.

Never again after that haha.

When I used to abuse my TBSS down there, I'd easily go through 5-6 tanks of gas in a weekend. Now it's like a tank and a half in the Camaro. Just not as much fun to drive around as it was with the TBSS. The LT1 car should be fun if I ever finish the damn thing.

If you couldn't tell, I'm getting excited.

Oh its definitely full, however on the busy days the inner lot is cone'd off and only open to hot rods and people staying at the hotel. Parking also surrounds the entire buildings perimeter as well. Yes u are correct... we have a system and we all know each other.

I must admit... one thing i love about that vaca is waking in the am to the sound of a couple cammed cars firing up. Stepping out on the balcony and just looking around watching cars here and there. At night... we are usually up till the cruising dies... and every once in a while ull hear what sounds like a promod heatinf the tires... but for me, that is part of that vacas allure. Lol

Just booked a condo down by the inlet. Kids like to be close to the boardwalk. Not sure if I will be bringing the car this year. Traffic was insane last year. My clutch doesn't like all that stop and go. Last year on Friday night I unhooked the trailer from the truck, parked the car in front of the trailer and drove the truck around. This will be our 6th year and it has definitely grown with the amount of cars. I'm not complaining, just think I'm gonna be more of a spectator this year. I'm definitely in for the meet. I'll just be in a big black jacked up Duramax. LOL!

I really enjoyed cruising this past year. Did alot more than normal, although there were times where the clutch foot cramped up. Lol.

This year will be in one of the automatics... ; )

That is one of the best places to go if you love cars. My whole family has been going for as long as i can remember. We stay down by the inlet on 2nd street. Cant wait for this year because my car will be done. Have fun guys and stay safe.
