Yeah... i thought about a color change... but just like the wheels. I felt the original color is part of the SS package, so i kept it. Lol

You do realize how far to the dark side you have moved You now have your own sofa you can drive around!!
Hope you kept the GM computer and Opti!! 20 pounds of boost is nothing to make work on the factory stuff. If you ever do have Opti issues I have a guy that uses a different sensor and it's what I run. Mine is going on 5 years at 7K all the time being beat on and no failures.
Looks good and can tell your are having a blast with it. One more Impala guy that gets it!!

Hahaha... im loving this "darkside." I will always be opti and stock computer as long as it can be done. @MoeHorsePower has kept me a believer with his set up, and now u have as well.
Hopefully she lasrs this car season on the strong build that @Tubby Z28 has done and after the season is over, i will stuff the camaro's motor in with the impalas automatic. Just need to upgrade that blower so Im not maxing it out as the 385 was.
Love driving it so much. As a larger person, its also more comfy for me. Especially when road tripping it.
Ur build will now be my motivation...

Friday she goes back to the shop for the emblems, front wheel well trim... new longer rear studs and just a small 1/4" spacers on the rear to push the wheels out a lil bit.

One other thing you will realize if you haven't already, it's a rare car at this point. You can go to the race track or a car show and you will be the only 90's Impala there. It's rare to see one on the road now days. I have people come up to me at any place I go and tell me how they loved those Impalas and surprised to see one again. You are going to get the same thing if you haven't already!!
That could be the main reason I have kept mine as it is fun to have a car that's the only one of it's kind where you are at. But that also is making it hard to replace stock parts as only used parts are your only option and they are not all that good.
I'm 6'2" so yes, the room is very important!! Down side is how much they weigh and you will see the motor out of your Y-body is not going to move the B- body as fast as it did. You will need a bunch more HP to equal the feeling you had before.
May not be the fastest car as any Y-Body with the same stuff you have is going to toast you, but it's a ton of fun and more comfortable to ride in, work on and drive. And again, it's rare to see one.

I don't remember the name but will look it up again. He has a company in Ft Wayne Indiana that sold a modified OPTI that Lingerfilter used on their cars. Seems to be better than the GM's as they would only last me a year or two.
I will get you the info
