Turbo Camaro!
Well, I started a build thread for my camaro about a year ago then changed directions. I decided to do a turbo build, and last week I got my first parts for it(hot side). This build will definitely take time to come together. I want to make 1000rwhp but we will see what it makes when it gets done.
As I sit right now, I have a 1994 camaro z28 roller with a 10 bolt rearend (lord help this poor rearend LOL). I have a build sort of set up...
38xci LT1:
Callies Dragonslayer 4340 crank 3.75 stroke
Callies ultra xd I beam 5.85" Rods
Diamond custom pistons w/ rings
Cleavite bearings
LE Trickflows
LE Hydraulic boost cam
GT4788 turbo
LT1 Boost 88mm Hotside w/ 40mm waist gate
A2W intercooler
I am going to run the LT1 pcm and Opti as long as I can
Single plane intake
E85
LC1 wide band
4L80e swap
Want to find out if there is a way to control the 4l80 with the lt1 pcm
10 bolt till it breaks then go 9"
Suspension and a cage will come after I get the car moving under its own power.
this thing has been sitting way to long lol

1k is a tall order. Im definitely subscribed. Please keep this updated, and keep the pics coming.
Can i make one suggestion tho. Start with the rear... then the suspension... then the trans... then the powerplant. That way, u can use it when u build it. I did ny boost build motor first and it took years to get it right.. then it took more time to make it where I could use it, and Im still a strong driveshaft short from being able to stick the power... and thats only 602rwhp.

Sounds like an interesting build. Did you pick 1000rwhp as the goal since its a nice number? Its certainly not impossible but rare for a LTx. Who is building the engine?

E85, 1000whp, and turbo... better be prepared to spend a few grand on fuel pumps and lines.
Is it a T4 88mm?Correlation does not imply causation.

There is a couple shops here in my home town that have good reputations, I'm also about an hour away from Omaha NE which also has some options as far as machine shops and engine builders. I need to do some shopping around.
As far as horsepower is concerned I'd be happy with ~800 hp on a dyno but I want to be able to support 1000 so if I get the itch to make it happen I can.94' Z28 A4 black: turbo build in progress
