Default RPMs pegged at start up

My wife was driving her 94 ta lt1 m6 to work the other day and she said she turned the corner and the engine reved and wont idle down. I looked for obvious vacuum leaks but couldn't see or hear any. Anything else cause this? Thanks.

Sticky throttle cable, throttle blades have something stuck in them, broken throttle body spring, etc. Would take a serious vacuum leak for it to idle way up and not come down.

Its ok. Mine spun and stuck on me one time... but mine was because I put a spacer on the intake and first wot pull forced the cable to over pull. I think @Fastbird had a similar issue once

Mine was a BBK TB, and the......whatever you want to call them that the cables attach to separated and twisted. Took a spot weld and it was fixed good.
