Looking for advice!
What do you guys think about running e85 on a cam/nitrous setup? It would be a 100-125 shot. I have a set of 30lb and a set of 36lb injectors and a 340lph pump and a cc306 cam (Bought a sweet bundle package).

@MoeHorsePower
I'm curious if you would have plenty of injector. Maybe Moe can help you out.

I have a couple of buddies that run it on their mustangs. I have never done research on how the lt1 handles it or if it likes regular pump gas better.

@dawdaw he likes it in his mullet mobile, I would guess you may run out of pump head if your NA power is stout.

Is this a stock bottom end car ?
Unless your really high compression it's not worth it. Will it work , yes but there are no really gains to be had unless your boosted , or high cimpressuon.
If your absolutely hell bent on running the fuel I can possibly give you a few pointers.

Yeah this motor is stock bottom end, just going to cam it and spray it while I build my other motor. But I would like to run more compression on the motor I'm going to build. But I don't know what compression would be best. I'm by no means hell bent on running e85. Unless I can make better power with it.

There are no real advantages on such a mild set up.
For your next motor depending on what it is yes there a some big advantages. 1.80 a gallon and it will take anything you throw at it. 14:1 compression, 300 shot , larger tuning window, oxygenated so it will make more power then pump gas or non oxygenated race gas, will cool the motor a little bit, .
Overall it's a great fuel and there are a LOT of guys switching to it because at the end of the day who wants to send 8 dollars plus a gallon for race gas when you can put a dirt cheap fuel in it and make more power? I will say there are some very big misconceptions about the fuel so don't listen to your neighbors great grand father that says it eats lines lol.

Sure ask any questions you may have about the fuel.
