Thread: Gettin Boosted

    Default Gettin Boosted

Just picked up a procharger D1SC, so now I'm trying to decide what to do with it. I can put in my 98 LT1 powered Blazer or my TPI powered crew cab camper hauler. when I was inquiring about a p600b that was for sale on here, a member said I would need a bracket like he had. I believe it was SSlowboat if so could you please post some info on that bracket. anyway lookin to learn from you boosted guys as this will be my first boosted project.
    thanks, Joe

I'll sell you the bracket for what I paid $100 bux. It mounts it up high on drivers side. It's bracket only, you would have to source spacers and pulleys

If you wanna tow, do not add your blower to that engine.

Ya, I pretty much decided it's going on the LT1. still trying to decide on putting it in now or building a boost 383 with my spare LT1. quicker if I just get some good dish pistons and keep it a 350. not sure on that yet. but it will be going in the lil LT1 blazer. that I know. the kit originally came off a TBI truck, going to see if that bracket will mount it up high on the drivers side. if so then I' good for mounting. Got no idea where I'm going to fit the intercooler, dont want to loose the A/C. may have to put it under the truck. thoughts anyone? looking for input from those who know boost. also considering 24x I've gathered all the pieces except the the EFI connection parts. I have the DIY harness kit from BP, a 411 with stock LS tune, a set of coils and coil mounting brackets. A 97 timing cover and balancer, so probably going to go that way.

Sorry to go off topic, Im just wondering why it shouldn't go on a tow vehicle?

My guess is because you don't want boost to kick in. Probably makes towing more unpredictable.

    Looks like a fun build!
