Thats right... its called liquid vinyl. Stopped by a new customizing shop after talking to the owner on facebook to check out this new thing that I thoughy was like plasti dip...

Well its similar in only one way, that is that it goes on as a liquid/spray... however...

Unlike plasti dip, which has the toughness of a latex glove... this stuff literally feels like duct tape.

I have a piece of removed material that i literally played tug-o-war with at the shop and it would not break.

Ill post up pics of that piece then.

I took a quick video of the owners 3 series. His is a fancy flip flop color in matte with a shit ton of metalic.

The price to have it done is pretty close (lil more expensive, but its clearly more durable) to plasti-dip.

He said a fancy color like his bmw is 800 bucks and something simple like a matte deep black (im pretty sure its how the TA will be done) would be around 600 bucks.

Ok, I've actually seen that before. It's good stuff. Lots of Plastidip installers use halo efx too. It seems like pretty good stuff. Those install prices are very good. I'm doing my Plastidip myself and just materials were about 500.

I need to take a video of what the sheet that was peeled off is like. Literally two of us full grown men played tug of war with it and it was difficult to break...

I'd like to see that. I peeled one of my speed shapes that I did in Plastidip with the top coat and it feels like vinyl wrap without the adhesive. Maybe just a bit more stretchy.
