Awesome! My car was originally a non-GT optioned T/A, which in 94 meant it had no high rise spoiler and a 115 mph speedo. It also had those hideous salad shooters which were promptly replaced around the same time the wing was swapped. Then my SLP ram air hood went on. I'll likely leave the speedo alone as it does show the true mileage. Finding another cluster close to my mileage won't be easy. I'd also love to do an LS front clip swap some day, but the looks of a clean LTX T/A front end with a ram air hood is a good look.

Oh, this came in the other day at DFR (DiabloFormula Racing).

Turn around time was pretty quick for a custom grind. I expect to see a video of them stuffing a cam into the 5.3 in the future. The cam I wanted will work, so no PTV issues. The only issue will be if my converter and gears are enough to make it happy... and the tune of course. It'll probably go to Jeremy Formato/Fasterproms for any finishing touches, which is DFR's recommendation to achieve the best streetability.

No real timeline on when the build is happening. They usually operate on my car in between bigger builds. Hoping for January but it's not like I'll be driving it around in the snow.

Definitely have not forgotten! The K should be in the back of my truck in a few weeks. If you want the whole thing, it's yours.

Long time no update. If you follow DFR's videos, you'll notice my car is still at the shop without progress. At least no real progress is evident in the videos. The motor is ready to bolt on the LS k member and get slammed back together at this point. While I am thrilled to say that it is in the queue for the next larger project on the chopping block at the shop, my life is in a whirlwind right now and the last thing I want is another money pit and project that needs my attention lol. But, eventually it will come and I am excited about it.

In summary, new job that requires heavy travel, fixing up my house to sell, and house shopping. Such is life.
