Default THE "where do/does, I/my car fit" question thread.

I hope u guys (new coordinators and rule makers, etc) dont mind, but i thought maybe this might help newbies who are apprehensive about racing, as well as others (like myself) that just get confused reading the rules.

(If u guys dont like it, let me know and i will remove it).

I think I'll be in Extreme Street PA but here it goes. I also plan on the bracket class too if we can run 2 classes.

    355 Lt1 w/ 6.0" rods
Stock Heads - fully decked, lightly smoothed ports, no bowl work
Impy SS Gaskets - CR is close 12.2/1
    CC503
    Comp Ultra Pro Mags
    Stock Intake w/ 52mm TB
    T56
    Stock style tubular suspension
QTP 9" 4.11 on DR's (In the works, not racing 750 miles from home on stock 10 bolt)
    150-175 shot through Shark Nozzle.
    2012 Sierra - 5.3, Summit "Stage 1" Truck Cam
1994 Jimmy - LS? LT? 4wd? AWD? Time? Money?
    1994 Formula - 5.3, Terminator X, Billet VS7875, "Best Cam", T56, QP 9"

@Sahara54 Your car, as described will fit in the Extreme Street P/A, True Street, and Bracket classes. You could also run in the Extreme Street N/A class without the N2O.

The headliner rule for the street classes has me up in arms. It's got sunvisors all interior plastics etc, just missing headliner and really don't plan on putting one in

Carbs have never been allowed in ESPA, this class was intended to be stock heads, pcm, and intake class. We are already opening it up with allowing 24x. We are doing that to fit the cars that actually come out to race, this is a hobbyist event that should be adjusted to the community that we have.

All the ball busting I did about you running a carb I guess I deserved that lol. The carb option is an inexpensive route to take and if we have that many people showing up to race with setups like you plan on running we will have to adjust the rules to accommodate, but as I said earlier carbs have never been allowed in Extreme Street.

The intention was to get the location, date, and rules out to everyone as quickly as possible so they have time to build their cars to fit the classes we have. The last thing we want is the drama the event has been plagued with over the past few years about rules changes. If you agree with them or not or like them or not show up and prove us wrong. We are tired of seeing car count dwindle to nothing and stepped up to do this so we all have an event that is our own to run at. We can all race other NMCA or various other events but there has only been one LTX Only event and that is what we are trying to continue on with.

Until the Kansas crew gets us the trademark and website information we can not move forward with that name. I hope to have progress on that this week.

I'm just speaking for myself here, but the idea behind requiring these things like headliners, sunvisors, mirrors, etc is to keep people from gutting their cars out. If you show up on race day and your car is missing the headliner because it's too expensive or a pita to replace. ....I'm going to throw a tarp in your back seat for the weight it's missing and I'm moving on to tech the next car. I think people are getting too hung up on the little stuff.

We ain't looking to bust people's balls here. You roll in with a completely stripped interior, no, that ain't gonna fly. You're missing a headliner or sunvisors (I personally HATE sunvisors) we'll figure out something in the drivers meeting like we always do to make it work.
