Simce the caddy kept getting pushed aside... had to cut some stuff off the to do list.

We crossed off the rust repair and chasis coating for now... rust was very surface and was cleaned off of the paint.

So just painting the wheels... replaced the air bags in the rear so the are not leaking and hopefully the truck does not bottom out now. And some other small odds and ends. She will get the rust fixed when it gets a lil worse...

Just happy the suspension is fixed. Had no idea the reason I was bottoming out was the rear bags had leaks. She now has a slight rake and holds air.

Not my wheels, just sitting on these till mine get re wrapped for now.

Well idk if they tried to do it but a light dust coat of etch will help with adhesion plus you don't need a heavy coat anyway. But a light dust coat then a heavier coat maybe. I don't see why it won't stick

I dont either. I think they tried a heavy coat of a build up primer to try to bury the pitting that remained... i thought that may have been the issue, but with like no time left b4 the shootout, I just wanted to get the truck back so i could make sure it was ok...

Yeah they need to do more like a light dust coat of etch primer then do medium coats to cover the pitting.
