I have read that the 0411 pcm will accept any vin programmed in to it. the biggest problem I see is that it's not designed to work with the canister purge and egr solenoids of the LT1.

what does your state do to certify emissions, some states just plug into the ALDL and check for fault codes, others do a visual. if yours does the ALDL then you are in you just turn the unwanted fault codes off, bingo you pass!! as far as visual, if you remove everything that remotely indicates something is missing ???? might work ???
P.S. ya might want to wate a bit see if my MagnaTronix Mod works.

I got my entire 24x setup through BP Automotive. He sold me a custom harness, new truck coils with coil brackets, PCM, and the EFI Connection 24x kit. The harness is literally plug n play and awesome quality, plug provisioned for the electric water pump and lengthened so the PCM can mount in the glove box.
A truck harness would need to be reworked. You will need LSX coils, and truck coils are usually fairly cheap and easy to find. I have under 1k into my 24x conversion, which is just a few hundred bucks more than an MSD optispark or Dynaspark.

If you bought the harness from them, truck coils should work and a truck PCM. The 0411 PCM is desirable and a guy on TGO is selling em for $48 shipped. http://www.thirdgen.org/forums/lsx-l...x-ecms-x3.html
A lot of LSX stuff is interchangeable. I recently sold some high energy truck coils to an LS guy. If you have any Q's about what to use and not use use with that harness, I'd recommend contacting EFI. Their phone support is great.
