sounds like a good idea to NOT do.
thanks for all your input - very educational.
How do I go about determining what pullys I have?
measure the outside dia or look for numbers on them?
6200 would be my max rpm, and it's tuned for that.
I want to be sure I have all the spin I can for boost.
I believe I have the stock bypass too - need to follow the tubing highway on the car when I get a break from work..95 Z28 FORGED 355, JE 8.5:1 PISTONS, 230/239 - .530"/.546", 114 @ 110 CAM, stock heads, Pacesetter longtubes, 10 PSI from ATI P-1SC Procharger, 60#, 4L60E, Yank3600, 9" 3.73, ET Street 28x12.5x15, 3450lb

The Lt1 kits either came with the 7.65 or an 8 somethin inch crank pulley....

I wish I had an 8.5" crank pulley. Then I could have used a larger diameter blower pulley to max the blower out. Which would have afforded more belt contact area on the pulleys and resulted in less slip.
