Default Custom CNC machined water pump spacers

I've got a few sets of these that I over ordered by accident. At the moment, I am marketing these to guys running ewp's only. The spacers are 1.25" thick. Take whatever space you have and add 1.25" to it before ordering to see if they will fit in your application. They will fit in my swapped g-body. They may fit b-bodys. I've had a few guys order these for their f-bodies that have the radiator stood up vertical. After I get a few in the field and get some feedback on them we may make some more. I'm pretty much going to abandon the idea of extending the drive for the mechanical water pump due to the fact that the block has 2 dowel pins that the water pump engages to (im assuming) locate the pump perfectly centered over the drive. I believe that without the help of this alignment it may accelerate wear on the timing chain cover seal. I could have holes and pins milled into the blocks but obviously it would raise the cost. The feedback I got on the spacers in a non ewp fbody was that the shroud needed trimmed and the pigtail extended. I have test installed both spline drive and pin drive optis with the spacers installed but the pin drives are by far easier to install. At this point I'm just looking to sell the extra that I ordered by accident and if there is any further interest in the future, I will try to work with the machinist on smaller orders. Again, the spacers are 1.25" thick. Take your current clearance and add that distance. Please check your clearances before ordering. You will receive 2 spacers and 2 water pump gaskets. I include the gaskets because the vertical holes have to be opened up to allow the shoulder of the longer bolts to pass through without grabbing the gasket. The cost is $100 shipped. Thanks!

    He sure did

For those that haven't seen the previous threads talking about these, you are able to pull the cap off your opti, or your entire opti withouth removing the water pump. He has a video in another thread showing removal of an opti with the water pump still installed.

Oops. Yea I meant to link to the discussion page that explains their purpose.
Basically, these spacers give you the necessary space to be able to remove the optispark without removing the water pump. I've changed both splined and pin drive optis with these spacers installed and the pin drives are by far the easiest to do due to the nature of the splines, but I believe with the correct socket, the cap and rotor can be removed with the opti in place to aid in installation. Thanks for the heads up guys!

Here is a link to a better discussion of the purpose of the spacers.

Still have quite a few to move. Any B-Body guys running ewps interested in getting me some measurements to see if they'll fit?

They did turn out pretty slick. The guy I use for my CNC stuff is great to work with. If you guys ever need any one off pieces done, let me know. I can draw it and he can cut it.

Bumping this back up. Getting some really good feedback from the guys that have purchased them. They're most likely going to be for pure custom setup so this will probably be a one time run.
Any b body guys out there interested in trying out a set?

These will also help those who run a large throttle body and a nitrous outlet plate. I had to remove my plate when I got a 58mm TB due to interference with the water pump housing neck.

Will these work with an electric water pump as far as clearance? Just asking. I know it's close to the fans but I'd like to be able to use these.
