For people that go to NHRA tracks, using a hubcentric spacer is required, and your lug nuts must engage the stud threads in an amount equal to the diameter of the stud. In other words, if you are using a 12mm stud, you have to have a minimum of a 12mm length of the threads in the hex portion of the lug nut.

Just for reference, this is what the brakes look like on the CTS-V... belongs to a buddy of mine:

Ignore photo.... this is apparently a 2nd-Gen CTS-V with 6-piston calipers.
This is a very good piece of information. While I didn't measure the thread engagement, I would guesstimate it to be about 10mm. While it is probably enough to be safe; I don't feel comfortable driving it too much.

I compared pictures and he took a lot less off than I had to. The wheels I'm using are cheap Chinese wheels. I love the look of the wheels, but they really don't compare dimensionally to most higher quality wheels. My situation is very unique as most F-body guys will run Vette replica's or a higher end wheel than I do.

Keep in mind that the 6 piston caliper CTSV 's use a 15" rotor and require at least a 19" wheel if you are using them on a F-body. I'm unsure of what rotors you would use for that particular setup.

If you have a straight edge and a tape measure, lay the straight edge across the mounting flange of the wheel, and use that to measure outward to the spokes. One of my pictures have the measurement from the hub to the caliper. If your measurement is larger than mine, they will fit. If not, you may need a spacer.

@casey20000007 if i recall , the rotors were 350 ish plus some work to get the center bore to fit the ls1 spindle, calipers were 280-300, gm pad kit was 180, pin kit was 20 bucks, then brake lines and a few odds and ends, all OE gm parts
