Darn tough Socks. I'm impressed so far.
I recently was on the hunt for boot socks again as the 5 dollar a pair carhartt socks left me with swamp foot at the end of the day, and 3 month old socks should not have holes in them that quickly.
So I went online in search of a better sock and came across Darn Tough Socks. At 22 bucks a pair. They also offer a lifetime guarentee/bet that A) their socks won't be the most comfortable you've ever worn and B) that you can't wear them out.
I wore a pair today and I'm am thoroughly impressed with these socks. They actually deliver on their claims of comfort and moisture management. My feet were dry today after over 12 hours on my feet working my ass off. The socks themselves were dry enough that, had I not just pulled them off my own feet, I wouldn't have believed that they had been worn that long. They are fantastically comfortable in my opinion. I didn't experience any of the typical aches in my feet that I usually have after coming home from work.
I seriously encourage anyone who is on their feet all day to give them a try. Yes they are expensive, but in my opinion they are worth it. The only thing I will have to wait and find out is how quickly I can put a hole in one of them."Only in the Corps can you put three guys in a room with an anvil and a rubber mallet, come back 15 min later, and the anvil is broken, the rubber mallet is missing, and nobody saw a damned thing!"

Ill have to give em a look. I will destroy a pair a socks a day when I wear my EMS boots. My biggest problem is the sock either strangles my calf or slides down all the time.

I would not recommend this pair as it's what we get issued and all they do is hold sweat.
