Finally got the water pump on my car. No opti problems which I was very concerned about. All I need now is a battery and it will be on the road again.

Well the weather went to crap up here so I had to park her again :/
Being in college and wanting to do some stuff to it really sucks. It's probably going to be a good year before anything major happens to it. Probably going to be small suspension stuff for the time being. Lowering springs, shocks (needs shocks bad) and sub frame connectors.

I may finally be getting a cam this summer. Had Lloyd spec one out for me and I like the idea of it. So I'm also debating on trying to freshen the engine up a little.

I'm back and waking up this old thread. Recent developments are huge on the car. Spun my #2 main bearing so decided to just go all out on the engine. I'm staying stock bore and 6 inch stroke. I have forged JE pistons, Eagle FSI rods, stock crank. Have a Lloyd Elliot cam, dual valve springs etc. Had to rebuild the T56 and I also have a MGW shifter which I absolutely love. Have ported 364 heads which will probably be getting the Elliot treatment in the future. I also went 24x for under $500. Still need to get it together but I'm relatively excited.
