Cleaned up all the winter grime and got the car rolling with the 295 Mickey Street Comps. I need to pull a degree or two of timing out of the tune and remove some fuel at WOT because it's showing me 12.1-12.4 on the wideband. I didn't even fully give it the beans and still managed to blow the tires off in 2nd lol... forgot how lively street tires were. I also pulled the baffle out of the Borla so it's stupid loud now.96Z M6, ERE-383 #60, AFR 210s, LE cam, 9", Procharger D1, ???whp

Dyno day is about 2 weeks away so I did some datalogging on the car with a somewhat revised tune. There's about 35 degrees of total timing @ WOT which seems good but the AFR is still too rich at ~12.3-12.5. I also still have some false knock at 3.5-4k and just realized that the attack, recovery, and low octane tables are stock and burst knock is still enabled... Oops. Gonna flash the car tomorrow with some fixes, swap some modules around, and try again.
I compared the new logs to one from the dyno day last year using a scatterplot and like what I see. The MAP drop is down from ~7kpa to ~4kpa and the MAF is reading about 15 g/sec higher around where I let off. Will be putting the craptastic Spectre filter on in a few days to see if anything improves. I also plan on putting in a 160* T-stat now that it's warmer out and wiring up a fan switch. Maybe it'll net me something, idk.
Also, is it cheating if I pull the accessory belt off when on the dyno? Maybe I'll put the MAF in front of the TB like a ram-air bird and leave it wide open too... moar power = more internet points lol96Z M6, ERE-383 #60, AFR 210s, LE cam, 9", Procharger D1, ???whp

Supporting MemberI'm at the same point. redrilled holes in rad cover to move it a full inch forward, it's still not enough. may dremel off that one abs bleeder off and jb weld the stub shut. My hood hits it bad, it may piss me off enough to cut the brace somehow.

I would but the ID seems so small with pvc. Using a 3.5" aluminum pipe I got for free. I slid the rad cover forward about 3/4" and it sorta fits, just have to trim it to clear the hood.
