    Default SO there I was......

Chillin in the Fort Wayne Lexus building, waiting for HR to sit down with me for a potential sales job at them or the adjoining Toyota. I'm looking through the showroom......woah. 2011 Yellow C6 Grand Sport.....with Lingenfelter badges. All the Lingenfelter stuff was laid out in the rear hatch to see. TVS Blower and other touches. Made about 570 RWHP and about 510 Torque. Package installed price? Just over $18K.

FAWK that. It's nice and all and you get something of a warranty, but seriously? Give me a Grand Sport and $18K and I'll give you back a whole lot more for your money. Damn I wish I had cash to burn like those rich fokkers.

That's pretty cool. Overpriced, but still cool to see lol. I wish I had the money to get a real 96 GS and then hand it to you to mod lol. I imagine it'd blow the doors off that Lingenfelter when $18k was properly invested.

those packages are expensive, but i will say the ones i've seen, they tend to throw in alot of stuff, brakes, wheels, clutch... stuff like that.

This is very true. It's not just a blower and a dyno number, it's a complete turnkey package that you or your wife can hop in and drive across the country and back, then go to the state emissions inspection and pass with flying colors. Considering that you can easily blow 3 or 4 grand on just bolt-ons and full exhaust for a C6 GS, it doesn't seem all that crazy.

There was NOT a lot in this package. Stock motor, stock brake system, etc. They charges $1800 for the corsa rear section exhaust though. And floor mats, windshield banner, and fender badges. The TVS 2300 and supporting was about the only real stuff.

That is a perfect example of someone blowing money on just a name.
