It would take a lot of cutting. The LT5 is a wide engine. The valve covers would be resting on the inner fender wells.
94 Trans am. Built 383/T56(437/409) Wilwoods, tubular suspension, QA1/BMR, Watts Link. Stripped down and set to kill!

Twin Tubo build underway. !GOING AFTER LTX STANDING MILE RECORD!

I know I had an gmhightech mag with a third gen with a LT5. It was neon green and early 90's weird.

Man, that third gen engine bay is HUGE and it's freaking STUFFED with that LT5. No go in a 4th Gen I bet.

    Default John Moss ZL1 Camaro

Speaking of stuffed engine bays! Not LT5 but still a beast of a powerplant in a 4th Gen LTX car. John Moss, the Master, could you imagine having his job...wow! Check these pics out from Motor trends August 96 issue.

I stand corrected, I didn't realize / remember Lotus designed it for Chevy.

WTF motor is that? And I have to laugh at the quarter mile testing. Someone can't drive. That's awfully slow E.T. and a pretty low trap speed for that kind of HP.
