Cool New Job at a race shop working on a top alcohol funny car!

Today was my first day at Speed City Performance, a speed shop in Willoughby Ohio. They specialize in blown alcohol applications and have a top alcohol funny car that they race around the country. I am very excited about this opportunity, and the fact that it has a very good chance of turning into full time employment once I've completed school.

Another reason that I am very excited about this opportunity is besides the top alcohol stuff, they have a machine shop and all kinds of fab equipment. So there will be tons more that I can learn, it'll almost be like they are paying me to go to school!

Over all I am fairly exstatic about this. This is what I am going to school for, and I'm making it happen.

Alright, I'll cut it short, I feel diahrea of the mouth coming on lol

I Sir, am jealous. Enjoy every second of being in a race shop. Working general maintenance sucks.

I do have to give credit where credit it due though. I would never have had the opporunity if I hadn't gone to school, and if my instructor hadn't pointed me their way in search of a clutch for my car (they carry mantic clutches, and if you haven't checked them out yet, you should. Head and shoulders above anything else I have seen as far as build quality. And they come in a nifty brief case with foam inserts to ensure that nothing gets damaged.)

Dude, it was awesome, it didn't even feel like work. First day and I was already helping disassemble the race car lol. I'm actually so visibly excited right now I am uncomfortable with the amount of emotion I am showing. I am normally a fairly reserved person when it comes to positive emotion like being happy or excited.
