Symptoms were things always coming loose on the engine, killing distributor gears, killing water pump splines, erratic timing issues and opti issues.
Changed balancer and it picked up 15hp and all other issues went away. The last two water pump failures were from bad pumps. One a tube to the radiator came out and the other the impeller fell off.
The engine also felt smoother and revved to 7k clean.
The guy who built the engine had talked me into it. When I started having problems i start searching and found out they are imported and do almost nothing for harmonics on any orderEllis
Faster Then a LS1!

Yeah, I got it to be my DD/tow vehicle. Having some trouble keeping it cool while towing my camper though, so it may not last long if I can't get that sorted out. I got the RX7 when I realized I had gone too far with the Camaro. haha Needed a fun street car.
