Thats the challenge. It has to be your ONLY daily driver.

But, for the amount of snow Murphy gets, he could just stay home a few days. It could work.

6300.00 for the car. 550.00 for the 17x9, 17x11 ZR1's, 800.00 for 2 new 315/35/17 Goodyears, gets 22 mpg around town, close to 30 mpg on the hwy and I'm in well below the 10k budget, even paying a years insurance.
Nice score for $6300! How many miles were on it when you purchased it? Snowfall is light and infrequent here in NC. I DD'd my Z28 for about 4 years, and there were only a handful of days I wasn't able to get out in it. Nowadays my DD preferences lean toward something stock, boring, quiet and spacious and 4wd.

    Thank you.

Had 111k, now it has 113k. I got a Z71, but you can ask Jesse(Badbird_96), it's not boring either. LOL

For 10K I'd buy a CTS or a Cummins truck to DD.

If I were going to build something, it'd be a 60's model Chevy truck with a LS1/T56, nice comfortable seats, slick interior, sharp paint, etc. You can do a lot for 10K if you aren't worried about going terribly fast.

Lots of visual horsepower, full bolt-ons, and a little spray....

    That's the tradeoff.

If I didn't have a long commute and still lived in NC, I'd probably do a lowered Ram with a homebuilt turbo or an 80's Regal with an LS swap. But snow sucks and so does my commute. Ibjust applied for a really good job right by my house. If I get it, things change.

Anyone ever see a turbo Durango??
