Yep thats probably the best one to use.

I run -12 from a sumped tank to my fuel filter/pump, from the pump to up front I have -8, Im using a clip on -6 adapter on the stock feed on the top of my tank for my return.

that filter I never have to replace, its a metal mesh filter you can take it apart and clean it, I have a second filter up by the fuel rails thats an aeromotive paper filter, but those only cost around what a normal filter does.
